Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V

Jan 18, 2023

I'll keep this as spoiler-free as possible. At first I was skeptical until I started watching random clips online, then I decided to give it a go. I liked it, and then I noticed that unlike previous installments it didn't just focus on the new summoning method but it also showed some love to Fusion, Synchro, and Xyz Summoning. As of now, I've watched the first 26 episodes and plan to ride it out until the end. But so far it's been a great experience.  Obviously, as is par for the course, ARC V appears to be geared for younger audiences but if you don't mind that and if you enjoyed all Yu-Gi-Oh! anime... Gamers!

Jul 14, 2018

If you're just looking for laughs, look no further. You get love triangles, misunderstandings, and all kinds of mishaps you'd see in a romantic comedy. Honestly, I was hoping for more episodes but I was happy to binge on this all the way to the end. I found myself agreeing with some key points whenever gaming was brought up, and honestly I'd watch this again now that I know what to expect. It may seem incomplete, especially at the end, given how much needs to be resolved. But you won't waste your time.

The iDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls

Jul 9, 2018

If you're looking for something cute and inspiring, look no further. Or add this one and keep searching, I'm not gonna tell you what to do. Good story and memorable characters never fail to make something amazing, and I just got done with the first part. Each character - and by that I mean the girls and the Producer - all have their individual quirks that make them unique. Granted, there's only so much one can get to know in the span of 13 episodes, but for a cast of 14 main characters, you eventually learn to differentiate one from the other. *SPOILER ALERT* Only thing for such a cast of characters I... Saint Seiya Omega

May 12, 2018

Saint Seiya Omega, in my opinion, did better than what many fans do. It expanded on the original, fleshing out he lore of the world as well as giving lesser known characters (like Geki, Nachi, and Ban) some time in the spotlight. If you're new to the series, I recommend this one as the last one you should watch chronologically as you will be spoiled on past events. Keep reading for a full review. The entire first arc, admittedly, hit on some points and missed on others. Even so much as mentioning Cloths of star systems not mentioned in the original (like Delphinus and Corona Borealis) was a step up. But... See full review
