The moment the baby said "mother father thank you for giving birth to me" I legit just stood up close the window, walked out of my room and scream what the fuck into my pillow. One of the reviews have elaborated on why the FUCK that is weird and I agree, along with how strange that the family seemed so happy???? and touched?????? bruh if that happened with my baby I would call an exorcist because THAT IS NOT HOW BABYS WORK. THEIR BRAIN IS LEGIT STILL IN DEVELOPMENT. AND THAT SENTENCE IS HER FIRST WORDS TO HER FAMILY WHICH MAKES IT EVEN WORSE DEAR GOD WHAT WERE YOU THINKING WRITERS??????

The story starts out as super cute and sweet.

Our main character goes back in time after witnessing her entire family dying (either war, disease, or other). She's now once more a baby, and while she's being showered by her family's love, she still can't forget the images of their dead bodies, and she decides to do what she can with the knowledge she has from the future to save them.

A pretty generic plot line, but this one really caught my fancy due to how fast I fell in love with the characters. Everyone is so genuine and sweet and loving.

Watching the story develop was super fun too, because even thought the main character is back to her younger years, she maintains her memories from the future, so you could say she's mentally in her 20's. Her interactions with other adults (and even children) are so interesting because of this aspect. On other stories where the main character either goes back in time or is reincarnated as a younger person, their much more advanced mental age usually only results in them being perceived as prodigy children by the adults but it doesn't have much impact otherwise, while on this story the MC uses her advanced mental age to counteract adults trying to look down on her, or get away from situations that could be dangerous to her. She has this advanced knowledge of society and social norms and uses it to her advantage.

I don't doubt there's other stories that approach this matter, but so far I haven't read any of those, so my review is certainly biased and based on my own experience.

However, at some point, the plot I-went-back-in-time-and-turned-into-a-child-so-now-I'm-going-to-use-my-priviledged-knowledge-to-save-my-family-from-doom suddenly turned into I-want-to-be-a-popstar-and-singing-is-my-dream-so-I'm-going-to-make-a-carreer-out-of-it-and-charm-the-country...?

Fair warning, singing is a big deal to the plot. The only reason why the main character went back in time was because a Goddess heard her sing and found her voice so delightful they granted her a second chance at life. So I get that. I get that if it wasn't for the MC's love for singing that she wouldn't be here in the first place. But must the story suddenly be about turning into a popstar?

While interesting, I found this a weak plot development. I'd prefer if the story focused on other themes presented to us - magic, the war, corruption within the kingdom. Singing could still be a big deal, but either be a sub-plot that doesn't get that much attention or be approached in a much better way. It seems that, the minute the story started to focus on the MC developing her singing, that she forgot what her goal was (save her family from death) and everything else lost importance.

I stopped reading when the singing plot started to drag, I marked as having read up until chapter 88, but I believe I actually didn't read that far. I'm not sure if the story goes back to what it was before, so do take my review with a grain of salt. I have shared my opinions with others that continued to read the manwha and they told me that the story continues to focus on the singing plot, but this could change anything or have already changed. If it does change, I'd both appreciate if someone could let me know and I'll be editting my review accordingly in case that ever happens.

I'm also confident that I mightbe picking up this manwha again in the future if they start to focus more on the original plot, but truth be told, I got really bored of the singing plot after a couple chapters.

Review:

There are so many things I want to point out here that bothered me a lot:

+ I like the baby part where it was cute and cuddly and she was fighting a lot with sleep

+ The characters a hot!

- I just cannot understand how stupid Lippy could be and not think of her situation. SHE just started spewing up straight words and anecdotes while she's still a baby. Girl, if my baby did that i'd bring her to the exorcist!

- She is much too focused on the past and does not enjoy the present.

- She has the habit of dismissing her family and just PUTTING UP ON THEIR LOVE ACTIONS. She needs to appreciate them more.

- idk if she's stupid or she knows that someone would always rescue her, so she just puts herself in dangerous situations, without being ready.

- I really hate her serious dead face like she's gonna kill someone in front of everybody. Like GIRL, you need to hide your intentions behind a façade!

- The stupid plot wasn't progressing nicely, until 90+. For the 10-90, it was just Calliope being pampered and her being cold and melancholic and seems like its the end of the world.

+ Now that she's around 12 or 15, she lost her edginess already. This is around the 90+.

- The weird dress that look made her look like a rock star was cringy as af.

+ Her harem (ehem) grew, and boi did the BOYS GREW HOT!

Synopsis:

Calliope Rustischel's family got yeeted one by one by a mysterious force. Plagued by the war, she was depressed and helpless. Until some mystery fairy visited her one day because it loved her singing voice. As a token, she was brought back to the past to live once again.

The plot seems to have lost itself so I can't even tell you what's about. I like these kinds of stories where the heroine comes back and changes her fate. I read them all the time all day. But this one sucked. Besides the lost plot. The characters are given very little depth and they're by the numbers at best. The world-building is all over the place. But the worse thing is the forced "romance" between the MC and ML. The MC literally has a stronger connection with EVERY OTHER MALE CHARACTER but the story tries to force her together with the ML (probably because he's a prince. And god forbid she marry anyone but the prince). The story tries to explain the reason she and the ML belong with each other is that they knew each other in the past life but it's honestly crap. I couldn't read the forced love anymore and DNF.

!!!!!!!THIS IS MY PERSONAL OPINION!!!!!!!!

I gave this manhwa a 5 overall bcoz....first of all the main lead.....ik that she is 18 in her mental age but shouldn't she act a bit more her age as she becomes a baby...I am currently at chapter 84.....and the fact that when she was only one she was able to say 'MOTHER, FATHER ETC ETC' like shouldn't she act like any normal one year to avoid any suspicious eyes as she is trying to protect her family from being murdered.....why is she attracting all the attention towards her and this will only allow her to be a likely target for killing......I am thinking should I read the rest as well.
