Koori no Mamono no Monogatari - Reviews

I have little complaints towards this book series. The entire plot was lovely, the ending was heartwarming, and the relationships were mind strengthening.

When I've approached Shounen-Ai books in the past, it seemed that almost instantly, something sexual would be applied between characters so I was hesitant when approaching this book but I am so happy I did so.

* Following is Plot Spoilers(Not actual story spoilers, more just character relationship spoilers(Warning just in case if you are seriously picky)(Look for *End of spoilers* in this review, i bolded it))*

This series isn't about romance(although there is quite a bit of romance in it), it's about companionship and faithfulness towards one another and the book focuses so strongly on bonds that it's enough to make me wanna read it over and over again. This sort of element, an element in a series which i find so hard to actually grasp runs strong through this book that it gives me confidence as a writer to continue with the path in which I want my own characters to take(write in my freetime).

This is my first actual BL/Shounen-Ai book that I have ever completed and I have been reading manga for MANY years. I have tried other BL/Shounen-Ai books but like I said, the sexual element is always applied towards the characters and I felt as if it'd be near impossible to find this sort of book with "gay" characters. I'm somebody that will take soulmates over sex/romance ANYDAY and that book gave me just that.

If you are looking for a Shounen-Ai book that isn't so much as focused on sexual encounters and instead the feels, this book is 100% reccomended.
