Despite being born and raised in Italy, Mr. Francesco Pantò works as a Japanese psychiatrist in order to draw close to the hearts of Japanese people, and continually care for them. As a child, he fell in love with Japanese anime. As a result, he developed a deep interest not only in the culture of the Japan, but in the hearts of the Japanese people themselves, and ultimately decided to live and work in Japan. Portrayed through the eyes of a non-Japanese national, this comic essay is a careful depiction of the special characteristics of a Japanese person's heart, and includes examples of counseling cases he's handled as a psychiatrist.
