Haruka 17 - Reviews

Bizarrely low ratings for my absolute favorite manga. Haruka's journey through the world of modelling is simply wonderful. The characters are all belieavable (Which means no one makes the dumbest decisions in history just for the sake of drama), there's no unnecessary drama caused by ridiculous misunderstandings like in any mediocre drama manga, and none of the predicaments drag on for longer than necessary. There's a good balance between success, failure, and whether Haruka fails or succeeds, you know that you still want to keep rooting for her. It made me smile, it made me cry, it made me sad, it made me happy, it hyped up more than any other manga and even when I knew what was happening, the scenes still got me. It's a very powerful read for sure.
