Hi! While reading Hare-Kon, I have mixed emotions. At first, I hate Ryuu because of having a Hare-Kon. However, as the story develops, it gets more interesting. You will be drawn of how Koharu loves Ryu so much that she agreed to be part of a Hare-Kon even though she dislikes it. I think this is a sensitive manga because it shows three wives living in the same roof and sharing the same husband with scheduled love makings. :)

I am not usually one to get hung up over an unsatisfying ending. Usually I can appreciate the writers ideas even if they don't match what I imagined or hoped for. In this case however I can't help but mention my dislike for how this wrapped up. I won't spoil it but I definitely was not pleased with the conclusion.

I will say though that the story was unique, had a lot of surprises, great artwork, and lovable characters. The relationship of the 3 wives was the best part. Not a fan on the male mc but the main fc and the supporting two fcs felt very relatable and authentic to me. I often wished different choices were made but in the end I suppose it all made sense. I would recommend the manga but can't help but warn of a somewhat unsavory ending.

Every single female in this manga seems attracted to that trash guy's peepee what the heck, but every female character here is cute and has their own charm to them, which is nice ig

The ending was uhm, forced? i didn't like it one bit and i feel like it ruined the whole thing for me even more.

The art is cute tho i gave it 10/10 :D

I read this on a whim even though its been on my to read list for almost 4 years, what better way to start the new year than to read a funny and nsfw manga amiright? am I??? haha... WRONG!!

first 50 chapters sucked absolute ass. yuzu was fawking annoying madoka was a weirdo kahoru was the most insufferable and loudest character I've ever seen and ryuu was just ryuu. (this sounds braindead but come on I was delirious when I read this manga and in retrospect I would've acted the same way if I were any of them)
kahoru freaking out about being in a semi polygamous relationship gets old sawrry everyone but I would've been tweaking too I don't blame her. madoka was a bit of a prick too but she was really speaking facts, really sucked when she left... wait what-

WILL GO BACK TO THE PREVIOUS POINT LATER!!! I'm not sure if I'm some kind of bigot or I'm just really insecure but I seriously could not get over the fact of their weird marriage like at all. that's just a personal pet peeve though. ANYWAY! @ circa chap 50 when they go to hawaii. kahoru starts getting rid of the shackles of being insufferable and seriously becomes a somewhat likeable person YIPEE!! ryuu and kahoru start to get it on yada yada yada madoka was pissing me off though. anyway shit happens madoka wants to have a baby she cant she runs away they find her she wants to divorce and get a mastectomy to remove her uterus and not even joking this kinda is tattooed in my brain like seriously I love you madoka
I'm not sure if its because I'm a woman but this part where madoka kept talking about how she's "not a woman" anymore broke meeeeeee. especially cause when people asked her shed say she wasn't a woman :( like it really destroyed me especially with how badly she wanted kids but couldn't because she previously had an abortion but with complications. had kahoru not been there I would've totally rooted for madoka and ryuu since madoka loved ryuu a lot

at this point of the manga madoryuu is my #!

after chap 50 is when it really becomes fawking fireee. this is when the author really gives hare kon its own vibe and atmosphere and it really feels real. 

so, madoka leaves and its just yuzu and kahoru now. stuff happens and yuzu finds out shes pregnant! but she goes to meet this joe dude? he was kind of a creep but I appreciate him. that backstory about yuzu and joe seriously made me tear up like they were seriously made for each other! and I was really rooting for them to stay together. yuzu decides she doesn't need a man and wants to leave both joe AND ryuu. which is a girlboss move I was rooting for her. but then she sees the crib that kahoru bought and suddenly throws all plans out the window and stays with ryuu...? now that just made me mad. i think yuzu was actually in love with joe and she had wayyy better chemistry in like the 10 chapters we saw her with joe than we did the entire manga with her and ryuu LMAO. and then comes the plotline of joe having his pipes cut and having his balls made out of silicone??? WHY WAS HE FIGHTING YUZU BC IT WAS HIS BABY THEN??? who knows

few years passes yuzu gives birth and ryuu goes back to being a pianist and a famous one at that. did I mention ryuu is a pianist? no because he literally has no depth besides him playing piano and being fair to all of his wives and being a pro rizzler who is a perv but also sometimes a creep and is deeply in love with kahoru. think about that last line because I'm going to bring it up later. kahoru sees ryuu smiling while on the phone and assumes he's cheating and she tries to snoop through his phone which results in him bending her over the table with his son in the house but I digress. (unrelated but I'm not sure how they were all fucking that much with kids anyway) we find out he IS SEEING ANOTHER WOMAN!!! BUT!!! its... madoka? i guess she never stopped loving him... but she had mentioned she stopped when she divorce- anyway they go to an inn together and get it on. 

aita for I'm meeting up with my ex wife who was in a polygamous relationship with me and the rest of my wives and hooking up with ex wife without my wives knowledge even though me and ex wife were once married? around this point is when we see madoka for the first time in a loongggg time this is like 20 chaps before the manga ends. the last time we saw her was when yuzu was pregnant and before that when she got divorced. and the way she acts is just absolutely insane 

(so she meets up with ryuu again and he gives her her wedding ring back and tells her to be his 3rd wife and to get married again which is so fucking creepy like this entire time of the kid being alive ryuu has just been a total psycho)

to the point she tries to conspire a plot to point out that joe is actually yuzus baby daddy im not sure where she was going with this im pretty sure she was trying to break them up but she got shutdown (also im rereading this part because I don't remember jack but madoka was being really real with the stuff she was saying) madoka tells kahoru shes useless in this relationship because yuzu is the one with the child and the only one doing work is which is TRUEEEEE. 

kahoru has been acting weird too since the kid came along like yuzu is the only sane person around here and madokas words cut through her. and honestly rereading the last few chapters is crazyyy cause madoka was really speaking truth. kahoru realized that shes basically 3rd wheeling. madoka wants to break up the family but shes a wuss lmao. madoka and kahoru get along for the 1ST TIME IN THE ENTIRE FUCKING MANGA FINALLYYY and they have a heart to heart.

KAHORU DECIDES TO GET DIVORCEDDDD!!!!!!! 

i think this is the first time that kahoru actually has some kind of will in the entire manga and it was really heartwarming to see.

anywayyyy back to the ryuu being deeply In love with kahoru thing!! when kahoru tells yuzu and ryuu shes leaving this is when we see ryuu's true feelings and the one he truly loves is kahoru since she was his first love and he's loved her since he was 13 iirc. this is also the first time ryuu says that he individually loves one of his wives only iirc too. this also the first time ryuu cries and koharu finally leaves the house.

ill be honest to god i actually cried reading this part.

so koharus working at this restaurant thing and madoka and yuzu come to visit they have a bit of a chitchat and speculate that koharus pregnant which she is. which results in koharu going back to the house..? AND GETTING BACK TOGETHER WITH RYUU?? also madokas there really sucked when she left... wait... SHES BACK IN THE FAMILY????? 

anyway they all get together again and just as harekon started it had ended. rereading it is actually heartwarming but when i read it i got so mad i started stomping around the room LMAO.

overall. harekon touched me in ways that i would've never expected it to. i read it with the pretense that its just some echhi manga but it was so much more than that. i cant explain my love for this manga in words. i think about it all the time and it honestly wrecked me for a week afterwards. READ HAREKON.

Not a bad read, I wouldn’t have minded if all 4 of them yknow 😏 Jokes aside the art is stunning and characters were interesting. Although long, it was still a good read, no complaints!
