The Lady Likes a Nerd over Princes Manga

Cheerful and free-spirited Sharina first met the studious and somber Riol when he saved her from mortal danger, and she fell in love with him at first sight. Using the adage, “the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach,” Sharina makes Riol homemade food in hopes it will get him to fall in love with her too. But instead, the delicious aroma catches the interest of the first prince of their country, Leonardo! Fascinated by how she’s unlike any other girl he’s met before, the prince claims Sharina as his own. Ever the arrogant narcissist, Leonardo can’t fathom how anyone could turn him down and his persistence crosses into the realm of harassment. Riol rescues Sharina, but at the cost of incurring the prince’s wrath! Can Sharina and Riol figure out a way to get the pompous prince to leave them alone?!

I really loved how cute the main characters were. They're not toxic in the slightest and really compliment each other. The story was good too! It was annoying how no one would listen(you know what I'm talking about if you've read it) but other than that, super great and funny!!!

Really love the art. Storys good but there could of been more at the end like a time skip to show their kids or something. Really recommend it.

This is a story about entitlement versus humility. But personally, I found Riol's rudeness (like in how fe would repeatedly say "shut up" to Sharina, especially in the earlier chapters) and self-effacement to be quite unappealing. Though, of course, if Riol has any unappealing attributes then Leonardo has 100x that many unappealing attributes. And this manga is best seen as more of a fight against Leonardo than as a romance, because the romance aspect is meh while the tension and drama surrounding Leonardo is at least somewhat interesting. Related to the meh romance aspect, Sharina's obsessive mannerisms while in love are more offputting than anything. Fawning over Riol's every action, getting excited about the smallest things, and getting lost in daydreams. This rose-tinted gaze is intended to create humorous moments, because of how gloomy and unattractive Riol's character design is intended to be and because of how ridiculously over-the-top Sharina's reactions are, but it's honestly not all that funny. Also, how many times must Sharina repeat variations on the phrase "the way to a man's heart is through feir stomach"? The eyes--most notably Sharina's--get a bit too exaggerated, to the point that they can be ugly. They look like a D-Pad on a video game controller. They look like a Knights Templar cross. They look shitty and they're used with way too much frequency for how shitty they look.
