Dr. Ramune Mysterious Disease Specialist

ep 5-6
surprisingly dark story

honestly, I think by the end of ep 5 you kind of get hooked into rio and his mother's hapless hope too... MAYBE he's missing an arm! maybe he's alive!
but no. of course not, but you're always going to be thinking it

ep 7
That was.... hmmm.

New character is cute. I really like him. Also one of those kinds of characters who... as an autie, it's really hard for me not to see him as super autistic tbh. Ngl, his design is cute so I've been waiting for him ever since we saw him in OP because he kind of seems like he'll be of secondary importance.

BUT ALSO.... really this episode left me thinking.

Really interesting they present Aona's dad as both over the top loving and controlling. It exists a lot in real life, but you usually don't see it portrayed especially in fathers.

Is the dad jealous of his son's art abilities? Did he hit his wife over it? There's something really fishy here, obviously. Maybe Aona's parents even got into a fight about his future career. Something's going on.

Episode 9.
I didn't like it.
This whole Alice In Wonderland house puzzle is such a left turn from the usual stuff. There wasn't even a mysterious disease.

Episode 10.
I thought Kuro was supposed to be the smart one here. But the little dummy
went and joined a cult.
That's the exact opposite of smart.

Episode 10: Yay, some back story on my favorite character, Kuro! :balloon:
YEEEES! I was so excited about that!

Episode 10 just hit different lol.
That's so true and ep. 11 continued in that way. I was looking forward to see how they've met but I DID NOT EXPECT THAT..

Also..
Kuro's bed morning hair in ep. 11 is one of the best things I've seen in this anime. So cute!

The last episode was definitely a satisfying way to finish the series. It completes the message of the show by reminding Ramune that he can't just keep giving, but that he needs to also rely on other people in order to be happy. Plus, he got a really huge spread in his honor. Win-win.

Overall, I'm really glad I picked up the show. What I assumed at first to be a supernatural House MD turned out to be a wholesome series about the importance of self-care, and the different forms that somes in. (As well as major food porn)

Definitely one of the more slept-on shows of the season, 4/5 would definitely recommend.

although in a lot of ways it feels like an mp100 clone, it also shares a Heart, just like mp100 and it was more entertaining than I thought it would be before I watched it.

I enjoyed it, I'd watch a second season
