Late to party ... stalled on this after 3 ep, then finished over weekend.
More about pangs of high school romance than anything else.
It is poignant, pretty to watch, steps around cliches, and has some first class goofiness too.
But still disappointing for me ...
But it's worth watching it all if only for the scenes with Remon.

I could never quite believe Ichika x Kaito. Why would an alien behave just like a teenage girl, without any trace of culture shock? (Forget the fact that Kaito doesn't have much personality.) Much more likely is a crush from him, maybe some connection - but not one with staying power that would span the stars. No, that should have been his lost dream-girl.
I was rooting for Kanna all the way - she has far more substance, so either he should wind up with her, or she should have met somebody better and left Kaito to hold his camera.
At least they gave a little hope to Tetsuro x Mio at the end.
