Grrr! I hate Laito! He has almost no redeem quality at all. He is a stalker to Yui (even through I hate Yui also), acting like a creep, etc. Even through only thing I like from him was his design, nothing else....
How does the media outside the anime make you view better of Laito?Amvs and fanarts are not a good place to form your view on him as they are obviously biased.I can understand playing the game and even then,he is borderline insufferable and aggravating.
Sure,his past and parents are shit,but at the end of the day,he's still accountable for the abuse he inflicted on Yui,and he's as interesting as a modern day generic harasser.

Laito Sakamaki, the first born of the triplets (due to a Japanese tradition, the youngest is the oldest in multiple infant pregnancy). The 5th son of the six Sakamaki brothers.
Personally, he is one of my favorites. At first, I said screw this crap! But eventually, after many different themes of Laito (like AMVs, pictures, manga, and even watching game plays of his route in English!) I saw a better side of him. Really, we can't blame him for his *cough* issues *cough*. His mother really screwed him up! Not to mention the maid! Tsk tsk!!
So, I think he deserves some more love then anything. Sure, abusing and sleeping with women and calling them a bish~ is not OK!!!!! But, atleast he isn't a perfect, no character character
