He's the only one who doesn't care whether Kae is fat or thin, so much so that he never has a single thought about Kae's outer appearance and he's able to instantly recognise her in ep. 1 when she becomes thin. He's also the only one to treat her exactly the same way even after the change. It just doesn't matter to him!! Also, there's something so...kind about his eyes and general features... sigh (个_个)(个_个)
I literally wound up liking him just from watching the first episode. The fact that he knew Kae's personality and instantly recognized her regardless of her outside, totally made me respect him. Because, in the end, it's the inside that really counts about a person, moreso than the outside. :)

I was cheering this guy on the entire time. He's super sweet and loves her for who she is. She seriously needs to be with this guy!! >:o !!
