Tales of Demon and God - Reviews

The anime is the worst thing that they could have done to the story. I am a big fan of both the manga and the novel and was so happy when I saw they were doing an animation. But with poor animation choppy scenes and even worse voice acting I am sad this was made. And it says something that the voice acting was the best part about this. I still love the story and will continue to read it but this is an abomination and I do not recommend it at all.         

I adore the manga so much, and i was so happy to see the that the anime was coming until i knew the anime was 3D which i compeletely hate but thought that the story would still be good so i wanted to watch it anyway, but when i started watching the anime i was so excited at the beginning but the anime went downlhill for me, I think what made it even worse is the 3D animation, and I only rated it 5 stars just to get anime recommendations with a similar story. The story of "Tales of Demons And Gods" is so amazing but the anime was a total let down so I'd recommend you read the manga even if you hate reading because it would be worth it. I completely hate the anime, but i completely adore the manga.

I love the Novel and am Reading it since it was on wuxia at 90ish chapters, on a few sites people seem to like the Animation, but i obiously don't think like them. I mean, if they didn't read the Novel or Manga idk, but even then i guess they wouldn't be able to actually enjoy this Animation. The drawing/animation style SPONGEBOB has, is more mature and brutal than the Animation of Tales of demons and Gods, most likely its the show screening right before chinese version of Spongebob or smthin idk. But THE STORY IS CRAZY I LOVE IT, THE CHARACTERS ESPECIALLY NIE-LIE and the Character developings are nice, sometimes steady, sometimes like "boom now I'm op too" (not in the animation tho but in the Novel. Especially in the first 200-300 chapter each chapter is long, detailed etc. it's shortened now a low, but it's still detailed enough written that I sometimes when I read the newly released manga Chapter think, i alrdy saw those pictures, even tho i only had the Story to the pictures before, because you can easily imagine scenes through those details. This Anime is Crap, but i recommend EVERYONE start reading "Yaoshenji" or the more known Name "Tales of demons and Gods" (manga is nice, but would recommend Novel way more)

This is a Wonderfully EPIC story they have made due to it being so different from many of the others "I" have read. Tales of Demons and Gods is one of my all time favorite Manhua (Manga) stories.  I had great hopes for the anime when I heard that it was going to come out with it.  Needless to say the animation is far below the story they are trying to bring to life.

Story - Awsome

Animation - NOT horrendice, but need tons of work

Sound - Meh, not great

Characters - I due belive the voice actors have done a fine job expressing what there character is about, but they could be better.

I would recommend that everyone read the Manhua and Light Novel to get a better understanding for the story.  Then only after you have started it can you watch this anime and be satisfied with it.  So far I am only on episode 6 with little deviation from the actual story.

Also the opening if far to long for a 7 min animation.  It takes up a who min and 15 sec.

Not bad, it's a bit bad on episode 1, but the story slowly progresses as it was in the manga nad novel. The concept of rebirth and having all your past knowledge into your new reborn life is basically broken, especially on the mc's situation where he had over 200-300 years of wisdom from his past life. Only thing I don't really like is the short episodes, but they make multiple episodes a week, so I guess that makes up for it. Its ok so far, but I would like it go faster and possibly catch up with the manhwa(chinese), then maybe the novel :p.

if you want to find out more about it then ofc there's always the manhwa and the novel. I recommend the novel over the manhwa, because the manga skips some details(basically every manga/manghwa). the novels interesting to read, but since mad snail fudged up the novel I think so he basically gave up on it, but he still writes out chapters but like on a basis of once a month :(
