Just a person who loves anime and manga. I love to talk to people about certain series and would love some recommendations!

No it's fine I'm still perfectly willing to have a normal debate about this, and I already started by attempting to refute your point of view,
so you should probably start with maybe a rebuttal to what I said in response to your reasons, if you want.
No need to call me childish or say I have a fanboy hardon or any of that, I do have legitimate reasons as you can tell.
I'll go ahead and remove my off-handed comment.
You posted some of the reasons on my profile, so I was just refuting the ones you told me.
Well I'm disagreeing with the reasons I know about anyways! When you make a weird list like that you gotta expect some people to wonder wtf you're talking about
How was it tossed out the window? Even from the second to the third episode he went from not trusting korosensei as a teacher to realizing his devotion to his students. Then his progression kept bulding on itself from his natural talent as an assassin in ep 13 to using skills he learned in ep 22. And after the episode with his mom and kayanos stuff he finally accepts his abilities, then learns to stand up for himself with karma during the civil war. This kid never stops learning from the events and changing and growing, it just doesn't make sense to say that. If anyone throws their development out the window episode to episode, it's karma. What you said just isn't true.
And what's with his personality just being a background character? Do shounen protagonists ALL just have to be energetic entitled hero types or bratty arrogant kids, or whiny beta males? That's backward thinking. That personality is what makes him perfect for the lead in an assassin anime, it gives him a unique look at the potential of a protagonist in shounen to have power where one least expects it.
