If you have read the story, then you will be sorely dissapointed. Damn thing starts with love.. Oh well, typical anime should have that.. But well I was too dissapointed to watch after 2 episodes..

If you only want to watch anime then go ahead.. Just read the story afterwards please... You will be pleasantly surprised

My overall rating is for my sole dissapointment

Its one of the best animes i ever watched. I get why some people are disappointed, problem is season 1 and 2 are just prolog to proper story and setting. If you watched latest episode you now realise part of what scale we are talking about. As someone whe read novel i can tell you it will get much much better, whole world and its setting is very unique and grand and often absurd scale of everything is something no other show will ever have.

cool fight scenes, but everything else is obnoxious.

I started this because many have it as one of their top "manhua" shows, I was very disappointed.

within literal seconds of meeting, more than half the characters want to murder the mc, it's ridiculous, and it never ends they just add a bigger fish every time an arc gets resolved.

The character progression is also terrible, it'll go "oh no I cant beat this without a skill", 1 minute later... "oh I learned how to do this skill out of nowhere with no practice"

There's plot holes everywhere. there is conveniently always a camera around except when it would help the mc. They are in a futuristic world and show off how they've adanvced and have all this cool tech, but somehow when it matters most there's no communication or something important.

I keep watching thinking it'll get better but it never does. People say this is better than soul land, which is not perfect either,  but no this is not even close to soul land for me. 

I don't rate it lower because it still has an allure of cool world building, and exciting fights. So much wasted potential with horrible writing.
