A nice little OVA that fills in a few missing plot points from the series, but still leaves many unanswered. Story - 8/10 This was a nice two episode OVA that deals with Kasha's true identity and the lives of the R.U.C. girls outside of their work place. Similar to an episode within the series where Kasha and Sylvia went following Rose and Ashley, as well as the pool episode, they try to show a more comical side to the four females who can also be ruthless killers. It was a cute addition to an already great show, but it's easy to see why it might have been scrapped from the series, as some things they touch on would ruin other plot points that are more important to the story. Animation - 9/10 Everything from this OVA is exactly like the series itself, with all the rich colors and detailed animation that made the original great. Sound - 7/10 Again, like the Animation it seems this was all done at the same time as the series, so nothing has changed. Characters - 7/10 The OVA focuses on two characters from the original show, Kasha Maverick and Celica Yayoi.  Here we get a deeper back story for both characters, but it still isn't enough to really get to know them. One thing missing, despite getting more information on Celica's family, is finding out what happened to her sister. In the series it doesn't play a huge part, but you know it has something to do with the way she acts and it also is used to throw us off a bit, the least they could have done was answer that question for us. They also could have touched a bit more on the relationship between Celica and Accela, you can sense something more was going on in the series and this OVA could have shed a little more light on it while still keeping it as a subplot easter egg for those paying attention. Overall - 8/10 As a short specials OVA this actually had a great story and added something to the overall series. I could have seen this spliced in and used to make the series more complete, but then they might have had to make another 10-12 episodes to push this subplot along too, which I would have loved as the series was great.
