Negima!? Natsu Special!? - Reviews

Story: The story of Negima?! Natsu Special?! is more of a NegiXNadoka story than NegiXAsuna, so if you're looking for a romance story featuring Asuna and Negi getting it off then you'll be dissappointed-I'd suggest watching the Spring special for that.

This OVA was actually quite interesting. Yue does a magic spell and it results in Nodoka getting tied up with Negi for a whole day, then OF COURSE Ayane opens up her family's new Spa, and no one can resist it. Soon you see bundles of naked girls shamelessly bobbling their huge breasts around the place talking about shark costumes and farting in jacuzzis.

Animation: Animation in Negima!? is very good, the shading is very impressive and I like, in particular, the characters eyes. The nudity I found a bit graphic for something rated 16+ - it was only a small,small step away from turning into fully fletched hentai. It was actually more graphic than episode 6 of High School of the Dead, and I NEVER thought I'd be able to say that.

Sound: Like the Spring special of Negima, the OP and ED were good, but the actual music in the show really isn't very memorable at all.

Characters:  Nodoka is shown more in this episode- something I liked, and Yue was also shown a lot. Asuna not taking centre stage was something what I found quite refreshing- though admitedly I felt sorry for her as she got groped and tickled by a bespectacled girls' cleaning robot for the duration of the episode.

The other girls aren't really developed or anything in this OVA. You sure see a lot of them as far as boobs and butts go, but other than Yue, Nodoka and Asuna, the only other girls you see are Konoka and Setsuna during a brief scene where Setsuna has to wash Konoka's back and faints from the sheer beauty of it.

Overall: I prefer this OVA to the Spring Negima!? special, I suppose boys will like this one more too as the ecchi is much more graphic. I wouldn't really recommend this OVA though.
