Probably one of the dumbest animes I have seen, the beginning is hard to get through.

BUT about half way through I couldn't stop laughing!!!!!!!!!!

It gets 5 stars for being HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So make it through like 1/3rd of the movie and you hit the most hilarious layer of awesome,

Still a dumb anime, but the epic/hilarious moments saved it from getting a horrible rating.

DEFINITLY RATED MA

Kids you have been warned. XD

"KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world! Movie: Legend of Crimson" expands the beloved universe of Kazuma, Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness with a feature-length adventure that takes them beyond the familiar settings of the series to explore Megumin's hometown, the Crimson Demon village. This movie not only maintains the series' hallmark blend of comedy, fantasy, and camaraderie but also elevates it, delivering a richer narrative filled with laughter, action, and heart. Diving deeper into character backstories, especially Megumin's, the film offers fans a more comprehensive look at the dynamics and histories that drive their favorite characters, all while presenting a new and engaging storyline.

Explosive Laughter and Adventure

  • A Deeper Dive into Characters: Focusing on Megumin and her origins, the movie provides valuable insights into her character, enriching the audience's understanding and appreciation of her complexities beyond her explosive obsession. This focus adds depth to her character and strengthens the emotional investment of the audience.

  • Elevated Action and Humor: True to the spirit of "KonoSuba," the movie delivers on both action-packed sequences and uproarious comedy. The humor is as sharp and well-timed as ever, while the action benefits from the cinematic format, allowing for grander and more visually stunning set pieces.

Challenges on the Horizon

  • Balancing Act: With the movie's focus on Megumin and her village, there's a delicate balance to maintain in giving adequate screen time to the other beloved characters. While the film mostly succeeds, fans of Aqua, Darkness, and Kazuma might find themselves wishing for more moments spotlighting their favorites.
  • A High Bar for Humor: The movie's comedy, while consistently hilarious, sets a high expectation for itself early on. Some viewers might find certain gags and scenarios less surprising as the film progresses, given the series' reputation for constant comedic innovation.

The Heart of the Crimson Demons

  • Character Growth and Revelations: Beyond its comedic exterior, "Legend of Crimson" delves into themes of friendship, acceptance, and the past's influence on the present. The movie skillfully balances its lighthearted moments with meaningful character development, providing a satisfying emotional journey.

Well, you need to watch the previous episodes to understand that. If you love Konosuba and the whole series, this film will certainly be for you. I laughed very hard in some moments that I couldn't stop. The characters and their development is also splendid and at the same time ridiculous, which is great. I can't suggest a better anime film at this time of the year. Thank you so much creators of this little gem and series.

I'll make this short. I liked it. The story was great, the comedy was on point, and it shows how Kazuma and his friends really respect eachother when it counts. The villain also seemed like a genuine person, and probably would have over thrown the devil King with her final form. So, yeah.

Also, this was definitely shipping foder for KazumaxMegumin. Maybe a bit of KazumaxAqua, but I see them as more of brother sister.

If you don't agree with me, that's fine, just don't be rude and be respectful to me and others. I'll like what I like and you can like what you like.
