Hanasaku Iroha - Videos

Both are about a girl who wants to try her best but often ends up making things worse. While the two leads have different personalites, they are both in situations where they need to make new friends and have a hard time understanding their own feelings. Both anime have a bright style and combine comedy with drama.

Despite the different stories on what the shows are about, both are a bit similar. When it became spring for both heroines (Futaba from BSR and Ohana from HSI), there is a change made in their lives. Futaba deciding to be herself and Ohana moving to an Inn her grandmother runs. Both girls had a friend named Ko prior to starting high school. Interestingly, both Kos are voiced by Yuki Kaji. The heroines have been separated from the boy, but end up reunited later on. Romance buds between the heroine and the boy. Both animes are a coming-of-age slice of life. 

A girl is taken for the first time to work in a pension, there she makes new friendships and learns to work in the service.
