Fruits Basket 1st Season - Reviews

I remember loving the first anime a long time ago. I really wanted to like this new adaptation. However, I can't watch this. It hurts to watch, something inside of me cringe away and shrivel in a corner.

Tohru's so bland. Even water has more flavor than she does.

I like the other characters, they have flaws and that makes them interesting. But Thoru's shown as this angelic perfect being and I just can't.

That's just my opinion, I'm not mocking anyone that does like it. I like what the story is about.

I'm not exaggerating when I say this anime was an obvious 10/10! Everything about it was remarkable! It bought tears to my eyes especially when the 1st season ended! The characters are each unique and I can just feel the story just starting! It is a must-watch and as for the manga, I would say the same!

I am so happy that this got a remake! I enjoyed the original, but this offered so much more! The animation was gorgeous and the soundtrack was beautiful. I love the characters so much! This show really knows how to break your heart and then mend it back together! One thing I am really excited about is the 2nd season! We are finally getting a continuation! I have not read the manga (*gasp*) and therefore I do not know what happens after the 1st season. I am so excited because now I'll get to see how it ends (although I spoiled myself about the ending)! I really loved this and can not wait for the 2nd season!

I've been an otaku for 12 years now and this is by far my no. 1. Literally the best anime. It has a vast topic especially in the mental, emotional and psychological aspect. We tend to focus on others and give little to no importance to these when it actually also matters. Almost every episode has me crying so hard literally because I can REALLY relate to this. It's like every episode is my life. In fact, this anime helped me in life and made me change how I see things. Please give this a try and hoping for more animes like this as well in the future.

This anime made me fall in love with it on the 1st episode. The animation and sound were splendid and lovely! Some scenes would make you feel emotional, the sound had a big part in that! The main character (Tohru) is so cute and would literally melt your heart! Each character has a different or similar personality to other characters which make them all unique!  Overall I really like this anime and would recommend if you like romance/comedy animes.
