A similar astory of ' Ascendence ' in both the anime titles. In a typical Isekai fashion (Not talking about where a MC is already at a god level strength) you can enjoy seeing your MC growing in the 'other world '. Though the treatment of both the anime is pretty different. Where Bookworm series follows a socio-political drama where the economics, polictics and religion are main themes (makes me remember spice and wolf) but a typical shonen rise of the character either hook or by crook is seen in Reincarnated series. That said Reincarnated chnages gears fast and MC soon becomes a undefeatable monster but the tone of the anime always keep it light and downplays the god level strength of the MC. If you are looking for a grounded socio polical commentary of medival times Bookworm is a clear choice, but if you prefer a much fast paced overpowered MC with adrenaline rush go for Reincarnation series
