Hello fanserivce, my old friend, it's been a while. Well, not for me, but you get the idea. Anyway, Rosario to Vampire is an interesting anime to say the least. Compared to something like Hellsing, it's quite tame. However, the story resonates with me a bit since I enjoy harem comedy types like this. And, truth be told, it's not bad at all. I found it to be interesting. I actually wanted to watch more episodes, and not just for the panties. This anime does some good things, such as having a bat narrate and explain things for expositions sake. It helps the characters do more things with out talking... See full review
Sweet mother of God. This is, hands down, one of the darkest anime I have seen. But, I haven't seen a whole lot, so I can't judge by other than what I've seen. ANYWAY Shiki is a beautifuly done anime that portrays a dark and engrossing story of survival on more than just one end. There are several characters to remember, the animation is great, and the music is spot on. For story, Shiki has outdone itself. it starts with a mysterious occurance killing off villagers. What I like is that you find out what's going on quickly, but you still learn more as you watch. What this anime also does is that it plays... See full review

I'll be honest; as a fan of harem, ecchi, comedy types, I tend to be kinder in reviews as opposed to others who judge them more harshly than they deserve. Sora no Otoshimono, or Heavens Lost Property in English, is one of those strange other worldly girl meets earth boy types that does it well. I like the story because it's different. So here it is: Tomoki is a normal boy who just wants to live a life of peace and quiet. But his life is changed when a buxom girl calling herself an "Angeloid" makes him her master. This Angeloid... Blood, vampires, blood, vampires, more blood, and more vampires. If those two things are enough to entice you to watch this, then you will enjoy Hellsing thouroughly. With enough real vampires (5) to make a Twilight fan's head explode with the realization of how THAT series sucks, Hellsing can be a vampires lovers dream come true. The story is coherant and understandable in the beginning, but by the end of OVA 2, you wonder what's going on a bit. Thankfully, things are explained, and you begin to enjoy the story a bit more. The characters that are named are, for the most part, memorable from the crazy and... See full review
