I don't know if I'm just stupid but I, being 12 episodes in, am extremely confused. As this anime reveals many items that seem crucial to the story, it isn't clear as to whether the state of confusion is a plot point to help it's audience relate to the main character, or if they are trying to convey a very vague plot.
