It's awesome to see another Lupin III tv series. This time in his 4th outing. I have yet to watch the Pink Jacket series (3rd series) and saw a lot of the Red Jacket (2nd series) and saw the Gray jacket (1st series). I still prefer the 2nd series and the first half of the 1st series to the latest tv run, but it's still very good. While the first began with a dark, Bondish, more true to the manga Lupin and the second series was more comedic and adventurous. This new series takes a bit of the old. Lupin is in one location that being Italy except for one episode. This series is not dark like the Gray Jacket Lupin and it's not quite as funny as the Red Jacket Lupin, but still stands on it's own. This series was less episodic because we are introduced to some new characters. Honestly I didn't care for the new characters. The classic characters such as Lupin and his gang are still outstanding. It's a fun series. The animation was high quality. The sound was great. Lupin III series have good music. I wish they would have shown more of Jigen and Goemon over the new characters, but it's still a good watch. Recommended.
