- Don't Read If You Haven't Watched Parts 1 & 2! -

This is probably one of the most advanced works I have ever watched. Parts 1 and 2 are both the origin of the Joestar family line, and origin stories are something that I really like when it comes to almost anything. Jonathan and Joseph are extraordonarily likeable protagonists, and even with plot armor, there really isn't a single flaw I could find. Dio and the Pillar Men are extremely worthy antagonists for the heroes, and I never found myself saying that I actually feel sympathy for a few of the villains. I really like Wamuu and Esidisi despite the fact that they kill a few of the characters. Each of them are trustworthy and oddly humble for being a major part of the plot and fuel for character development. It was really sad to see Joseph visibly upset when he was forced to kill Wamuu. He was trying to hold back tears as he silently saluted his adversary. Dio and Kars are both the very definition of evil in my book. They both wanted to transcend humanity in a way that makes them more powerful than any known character; which really adds a ton of depth to the fights between the Joestars, the Zepellis, and even the German army, due to the fact that it really felt like all of humanity or the entire world was at stake. I love this series so much already and I haven't even watched Parts 3, 4, or 5 yet! I never really imagined myself thinking how cool a Nazi soldier was, but Stroheim is easily one of the best characters in the anime so far for me! His way of becoming friends with Joseph and Speedwagon was touching, and he saved a few of the major protagonists many times! It was a really upsetting expierence to witness the deaths of Jonathan, Speedwagon, Von Stroheim, and especially Caesar, but Parts 1 and 2 redemed itself with the outstanding fight scenes, the climactic soundtrack, and the cast of interesting and developed characters! Normally I would consider watching the entire series before giving my verdict on my favorite parts, but I think 1 and 2 will stick with me for a long time. Part 2 was literal perfection, and I was hyped the entire way through! Very thankful to all of my friends for recommending this masterpiece to me! I look forward to watching and getting deep into the lore of the other parts!
