Hi there Wolfco - sorry for being more than one month late with my reply here, but I've been somewhat busy as you might have gathered. But my final deadline is ending in a couple of days so I sincerelly hope I'll get a chance to be a lot more active in here the next few months. Its not like I have much of a social life to take care of anyway - heh;

Anyway - what I liked about the Dark Materials trilogy was the general feeling I was left with.  No,  it can't be compared to the works of Michael Ende - or Roald Dahl and Ursula LeGuin for that matter - but they still contain this mix between mythologies that appeals to me. As the story unfolds you'll learn about the different dimensions - which all works more as selfsustaining keyelements in a grand history than just portals you travel through. At its best I think these books may rival parts of Greg Bears "Songs

Thank you for the compliment and you're very welcome for the sigs. I'm glad you liked them. :) I also find it interesting that we both code claims for a living.  Do you enjoy it?

Oh and I noticed that you have Fumoffu in your top 5. Definitely one of my favorites too. I loved the episode where Sousuke helps out with the rugby team. :)
