Death note is about a boy named Light Yagami. One day when he’s at school, he finds a very special note book: the Death note. He decides he wants to use the note book to kill criminals and make a new and better world where he, himself, is a god.

You can really chose 2 sides in this anime, L’s side or Light’s side. L is the best detective ever known who has solved all the cases he had been working on. He is the head of the investigation to find and arrest ‘Kira’ aka Light. L and Light both think they are justice. L wants to know Kira’s identity and Light wants to know L’s identity. Whoever’s first, will win.

I like this anime very much. It was my first Anime series I’ve ever watched and it made me want to watch more anime and get into the anime ‘world’. I really like fact that the Serie really just revolves around L and Light wanting to know who the other person really is. It also has a lot of action in it, like some shootings and chasings. The concept about there being a note book where you can write a name in and that person will get killed is very well thought of and it interested me when I first heard of it. The first half of the series is really good, the second half can be a bit less fun to watch and I think it was a bit unnecessary. I still liked the second half tho.

I recommend this anime to everyone, because it’s really fun to watch and I love the characters. Especially L because he’s hot ;).
