We've all heard the stories about the heroes who set out to vanquish the Demon Lord but, what most stories don't cover is what happens after the Demon Lord(DL) is gone. That's where stories like Densetsu no YuuSha no Konkatsu come in.

Story(Spoiler Free):

This story follows Yuri Shanbaraya, the Legendary Hero who defeated the DL, and his quest to find the one who loves him as Yuri and not as "Hero-sama"and get married. To accomplish this Tasen, one of his companions that accompanied him on his journey to defeat the DL, suggested that he hide his identity and go marraige hunting. That is easier said then done with Yuri because of a few things. One is his rather “peculiar” sense of fashion (For lack of a better word). Two is his emotionless face where you can’t tell whether his having the time of his life or is completely bored of life. Three is the fact that he can’t even communicate normally with the women he is on a date with. Now don’t get me wrong he is a nice guy and the people that actually know him are the ones who say that about him. The thing is that with every girl, for some reason or another, events unfold and he then unadvoidably reveals that he is the Legendary Hero. That is the one he doesn’t want them to know. So, once that secret gets out he then moves on to the next town and the next girl.

Characters:

Frankly, there isn’t much to the character besides Yuri. They kind of are like “What you see is what you get” or at least that’s the feel I get from them.

Art:

I’m not really knowledgable about manga/anime art styles and things of the sort so as long as it is horrible it’s fine with me. And the art work for this story isn’t horrible.

Overall:

It was an enjoyable little story that had no overarching plot, or none at all for that matter, and made me chuckle a couple of times. So, if you’re looking foe something to past the time while you’re waiting your anime shows or looking around for a new mangas to engross yourself in look no further.

8/10 story
8/10 art
7/10 characters
9/10 overall
