This anime is a gem.

Without trying to spoil too much, this is a very emotional anime, with a focus on friendship and death. I really liked all of the characters, they all are memorable and have a lot of charm, and I love how they handled character building. I really don't want to say any more, just watch it.

■■■ Art & Animation ■■■

Great! I loved the artstyle, everything was bright and colorful. Background art is superb and really detailed, and actually adds a lot. The animation itself wasn't especially impressive, there isn't a lot or action or anything, but they did a really good job conveying the emotions the characters go through.

■■■ Music, Voice and SFX ■■■

Ohhhhh man, yeah the BGM and voice acting all were great and added a lot to the overall atmosphere, but there is one song in particular in this anime that you will remember. I loved what they did with it.

I absolutely loved it. I can't really think of anything this anime doesn't do right; the pacing is right, characters are lovable, the music is right, the atmosphere is right, there is eye for detail, and all comes together with a wonderful artstyle. If you like the more emotional / drama series and can handle a bit of supernatural, go watch this now.
