In general, not a bad anime; not fast paced or very intriguing but not boring either.  It has some funny moments but overall viewers wont be surprised when watching, this anime is exactly what it seems, simply about guy and cooking.

The positives: The main character isnt bad, the animation and sound are good, the storyline is okay while being predictable, several other characters are interesting and likable.

The negatives: The weird and sexual food tasting scenes, which happen multiple times an episode. Not only are they more annoying than funny, they take up quite a bit of each episode.  The story is already kind of slow paced and this doesnt help. Also the character of Erina, shes just an entitled bitch who's incredibly annoying.

I'd recommend this to anyone who is happy to just watch and not wanting or needing to hyper focus.  Its just a fun anime so enjoy.
