Both protagonists save the world, only to be sent backward or forward in time. Both contain many game elements(one takes placein a game, the other in a gamelike world). Beyond that, they have very different tones, one being fairly light hearted, the other a bit dark.
I dont understand the 100 character limit to agree that these manga are similar. I like both of the manga in qestion and think that if you like one you will more than likely enjoy the other. Just trying to reach 100 characters now.
The protagonist in Tsuyokute New Saga and The New Gate defeats something quite simmilar, which is, something like 'the last boss' and after defeating it, they travelled through time; either forward or backward.
Because of the Space-Time Demon Spirit Book, time and space underwent a reversal. Both protagonists are sent back in time to before a calamity, and both try to stop the calamity and save their friends. Both protagonists learn and train much harder than they did before going back in time, and as a result, both end up fairly strong. The tone is a bit different, though.
Both are from characters that goes back in time with knowlage of the future to try to change fate so pleople wont die in the war (for one case against demon beats and the other case againt demon lord)

Both have the mc going back in time to change the past, though the reasons are different. Both take place in game-like universes (Kouritsu moreso) with strong, driven mcs. New Saga is more political, with elements of comedy, and Kouritsu has a bit more comedy, but is less political

Both manga take place in a game-like world. Both protagonists are soldiers/heros that died while fighting against the demon race, only to go back in time to when they were a child. Armed with the knowlege from their first life, both protagonists greatly improve their own strength, as well as the strength of the people around them, and just generally try to prevent the end of the world. That said, they are different enough in terms of characters and plot that it doesn't feel like you're re-reading the same thing over again. The tones are also slightly different.
After hearing a mysterious voice, Yusuke Tagami is summoned to another world, "Calzio". The fate entrusted to the otherwise ordinary guy who just wants to play games is to become the "Evil God of Calamity" in this new world. He can upgrade weapons, change the landscape and change how he tastes things... With his new power of "Customize and Create", there's nothing he can't do. Will he bring change to this imperfect world!? The very popular manga whose hero uses his "cheat" skills for the good!!

Both stories takes place in a fantasy world.
The only difference in this story is that the MC is sent back to his past and can now change the outcome of his future instead of bieng reincarnated in another world
Suzuki is a programmer in the midst of a death march-crunch time, when coders live on caffeine and pull twenty-hour days. He just needs a little nap...but then he has a dream. A dream where he's in another world, with RPG powers right out of his game. A dream where he calls down a great disaster. A dream that, suspiciously, just won't end...

Ed was given the crazy test of having to get expelled from 100 Hero parties in 100 different worlds before he could return to his original world. Finally a mysterious and divine entity said that he had achieved all the conditions to return to his original world. However, as a final condition he is asked “Look at the fate of one of these exile worlds after you left.” and he is shocked by what he sees. “Okay, I’ll do it! I’ll go down to these 100 worlds again and be banished with a good feeling!” Ed takes on a new challenge to make full use of the super-powerful “expulsion skills” that were granted each time he was exiled, and this time ensure they all have happy endings. In both series MC goes back in time to redo his adventure and make things right (being kicked out of a hero party is a bit of a red herring). If you found this idea interesting in one series, the other should prove interesting as well.
