Disciple of the Holy Sword

The protagonist of a story is always decided from the start. No matter how hard the supporting role tries, they’ll just be a supporting role in the end. Then, a moment came where all of that changed. The holy sword that was supposed to choose the hero of the oracle instead came to the main character.  Main character is untalented, poor, and have no connections? But he do nit needs to worry anymore because  he is gonna be trained by The hero who can resolve anything with the holy sword.“… This is where Leon’s story as the hero begins..  This manhwa is very good. Art is awesome and very detailed during fight scenes. Side characters are written very well and you will barely find any cliche characters in this manhwa. The story is also quite unique and interesting. The first 15 chapters consist of the training arc and there is a lot of text and training to get through but it is still very entertaining. Main character's personality is quite good. This is a must try for fantasy manhwa fans.

Had a good start, but it gets boring really fast. Dropped at chapter 30.

Grade: Overly-cautious Hero: The Training Arc OnlyOverall it's okay but nothing really impressive. Read it if you like the generic zero-to-hero, this one is probably on the better end of those types of comics. The characters are all pretty decent and honestly carry this story pretty hard. To be blunt, there's just too much training and the Good Guys vs. Bad Guys plot is a downer. Like 3/4 of the chapters are training, talking about how the MC is going to train, and combat talked about as training. The rest of the story that isn't training is just "Bad Guys being bad and doing bad things cause they're bad". No explanation for their motive other than power (not good enough, you'll know what I mean if you read far enough). Perhaps these chapters are just to get the ball rolling (pacing could be better), so we'll have to see how the rest of the story goes and if it improves or not. Reviewed: Ch 47
