both have main characters who live in a BL world who are mob(extra) characters. The difference is that in Zettai BL, the mob wants to stay a mob character and not be caught up in yaoi relationships, whereas in Eiji and Shirou, the characters are sick of being mob characters and want to be recognised.
Both are funny comedies which satirise the BL genre.
