How to Use an Angel Manga

A bunch of thugs holding a demonic invocation have kidnapped Kiom to use as their sacrificial offering. Just as she’s about to be attacked, though, the wall before her crumbles, giving way to a tall, glowing figure. The newcomer is more handsome than anyone could dream of, so pretty-faced that he seems angelic, in fact. Kiom is relieved to be rescued, but the guy seems to have mistaken her for someone else. He calls her by a strange name, and pulls out a…sword?! Will Kiom get out of this alive?

The story wasn't great and I got pretty bored within the forst ten chapters. Unfortunately, for me, Angel and Demon mangas are either a hit or miss. This one was a miss. The art wasn't bad, but there was really a lot of gray. I am more of a colorful person, so I really lost interest quickly. This was an aspect of the reason why I dropped it. The characters also weren't terrible but I don't really have much to say about them. (For the creators) I think you did a pretty good job with this manga, but I don't like it very much personally. I think that a lot of people I know would like it and have liked it, but I feel like it just isn't for me.

Here me out. Based on the title we all assumed it will be an angel-demon kind of story plot. But based on this assumption, you won't be satisfied with the story. In the contrary I only followed the flow. I was obssesed with the plot at first. I loved the concept of a an angel being in love with a demon stuck in a human body and slowly start to develop feeling for the human. I also really liked the characters, specially for the fl, who was always straightforward and I found her really funny! BUUUT as the story progesses the plot got real twisted and the ending was A SHAME. If its just for the ending, I regret reading it. It's so sad cause it had a good potential.

The story itself has got a very interesting plot but it never seems to fully explain itself. For instance, there's a war. Why? And a big shot demon got captured. Why? And the ML (and second ML) were granted salvation...never explained why. I suppose to keep the story short and concise but it leaves the story feeling unfulfilled and shallow. However, the ML is a great character. It's rare that we get MLs in these kinds of stories who are willing to give up the FL if that's what she was going to choose. The romance is pretty convincing but ends so abruptly. A great build up to something very short and eh. But the story is still unique, art is great, and it's generally a good story. There's no reason not to read this but you'll likely get to the end and wish there'd been a bit "more" to the story you just finished.
