It seems that you people haven't realized that she's the Anti-Heroine of the series!
Originally, she was meant to be a Villainess but then she regained her memories of her past life and recalls on what will happen to her if she remained a villainess. So she desperately tried everything in her power to prevent her own doom flags, which led to a completely different story route for her and everyone else around her.
I know many of you say that she is stupid, dumb, annoying, and all that ect. But you forget that her actions is what make other people drawn to her, she may not be perfect but no one else is. That's what makes her the personification of an Anti-Heroine!!!!!!
She get her harem too easy. Theres no ramp up to her gaining peoples trust or diffusing toxic sitations over time, she just does very basic acts of kindness and they immediantly want to fuck her. The whole conflict of the story is over less than halfway through season 1 but Catarina is just dumber than Aqua and doesn't realize it.
It's like if Tohru Honda lifted the zodiac curse and repaired all the parent-child conflicts by episode 4, but then the series just followed her convinced they still transform into animals.
In some point of view, this character is fine. She can be funny, caring, and friendly, but I was forced to give her dislike because of how much the author wrote her as a very dull personality in many situations, and as a counterweight in many other situations emotionally intelligent while supporting others. That just makes no sense to the point of not being funny. This made me very disappointed with the series to the point where I almost dropped it halfway through the second season.
