Kagome is the one of the worst main characters I've seen in anime history. But what ticks me off the most is her crazy fanbase. Come at me I said it!....most Kagome fans are always stating,
"If you dislike Kagome so much, why watch the anime?"
Say what!?! Since when do I have to like a main character (Kagome is this instance) to watch an anime. Maybe I like other characters...like Inuyasha, Kikyo, Sesshomaru, Rin, Kagura, etc. Them saying you have to practically like Kagome because she is the show pisses me off. So basically Kagome is the center of the show so everyone should bow down before her.
But in truth Kagome does NOTHING for the plot, except progress the forced romance. If you can call abusiveness romantic. She is the definition of a Mary-Sue and in the end she wins by default ;) We all know who InuYasha really loved.

eventhough she is the incarnation of Kikyo, she is more noisy very annoying
she's so different from Kikyo who is cool and grown up
besides, she took inuyasha from Kikyo and she is also weaker than Kikyo
