Part of the appeal of Yu Yu Hakusho as a series is the predictability of it, as it is for many fighting series! This is still one of my favorite anime movies, I just chose to discuss some of the flaws and tropes used that I personally felt took away from the feeling that makes YYH so appealing to the fanbase. Some people may find other parts detracted from the film more, and that's fine, but that's what reviews are about: Discussing what you, as an individual, found good and bad about the piece, and presenting it so others can choose to watch it or not based on whether or not they share those views on those plot points and tropes that each reviewer did.

Hello and welcome to a-p!
I've seen the entire show unedited, own all the DVDs, seen both 'movies', read the entire manga... it's a Thing, kind of my first big fandom, haha.
