Actually yes, we still have the old content and built a mini script thing that can grab the contents. I'll send it to your email on file for this account :)
I don't think there were any archived backups made of the blogs; that's why the site was notifying people months in advance to move their content as it would be lost when the blogs went away. You could always contact sothis, the site administrator, as she would be the only one to have access to such archived material if it exists.Otherwise, as far as I'm aware, there is not any way to get to that previous content.
Hello! sothis is redesigning the anime-planet site, and plans to roll out an awesome new site design in July, we believe. The blog feature is not part of the new design, and it is going away.
