This may seem to be a bit of a weird recommendation but that might just be me. Both are sci-fi slighlty but the main element that brings these two together is that they are both harems. Come on...it is clear, also the MC are quite similar they both have a girl they care about and are willing to do anything to help/save her. This is what is quite similar, also both set around a high school boy who gets involved in many adventures surrounding these girls. But obviously you would need to watch the first series before this second series. If you like SAO , I believe that you might find both series of Date A Live interesting.

This anime is full of action in a medieval times in a virtual world called Sword Art Online. This once a fun and active game become a Death trap when player become unable to Log Out and if you reach 0 hp you will die in real life. Kirito takes the challenge to defeat all 100 floors to win the game and save the remaining players. SAO has action with blades, comedy, romance, and just has an awesome story line with some very messed up twists.

Both of these series have an overpowered main character who saves the day. They are also very serious about what they are doing. They also are surrounded by many cute girls, but they only have one special one. The stories of both series are quite different, but the feeling they give is really similar. The visuals are similar too. I think if you liked one, you will surely like the other.

They both have an interesting plot, similar art styles, and the theme of romance and humor makes it all worthwhile.

Both have light romance and "cute" blushing crushes.

the characters all seem to be  similar and play similar rolls.

The only thing is toradora is more about love, school and real life.

SAO is a fantacy life that doesnt focucusf straight on love.

Both are must sees!

Gantz and sword art online have quite a lot in common. They both take place inside of a game, and if you die in the game, you die in real life. I cant really say more since everything else in Gantz is an important event. When I had found Gantz, I couldnt stop watching it, It was a sleepless night well spent.

Aoharu x Machinegun

Aoharu x Machinegun

When Hotaru Tachibana storms into a host club to avenge the honor of a wronged female student, the last thing Hotaru expects is to duel the club’s most popular host with airsoft guns instead of fists. When Masamune Matsuoka’s experience wins out over Tachibana’s brawn, he realizes that he can use his victory (and the large bill for damaging the club) to make Tachibana join his struggling Survival Gaming team. However, what ladies’ man Masamune totally misses is that his unwilling new guy… isn’t a guy at all! Under the boy’s clothing and strong need to defend justice, Tachibana is all-girl, but, for a number of complicated reasons, she absolutely CAN’T expose that fact to Masamune or his teammate, the erotic manga artist Toru Yukimura. Blood will boil both on and off the airsoft arena, but it’s not over until the last round is shot in AOHARU X MACHINEGUN!

Both series really draw you into the story. The heroes seem a bit similar and in their own way are. Small touches of humour and absolutly awsome drama thumbs up for these shows
