In Da Capo, the town has never wilting Sakuras; in Myself; Yourself, the town has never blooming sakuras. If you find romance and drama surrounded by mysterious and magical cherry blossom trees to be an attractive experience, I suggest checking out the other you haven’t yet watched.

In Both Da Capo and KimiKiss, one of the main female characters return to Japan from overseas and the main male character is surprised. They get reaquinted with each other and after a few episodes, have their fun. The story gets a lot more dramatic in Da Capo than in KimiKiss but both are enjoyable romantic comedies. I would say kimikiss is a little better in that its not as frustrating and the artwork is slightly better.

Though H2O is much darker at the start of the series, Da Capo becomes nearly as complicated. Both contain magical elements in addition to the romance/drama theme.

In Da Capo and My Wife is a High School Student there is a sense forbidden love going on between the two main characters though of a different sort from one another; in Da Capo it is a love of a brother sister type relationship and the other is between a teacher and his student. The main girl also tries her best to take care of the guy and met all of his needs and expectations.

One guy. Two childhood females (infatuated with guy) who are referred to him as his sisters - these are the main heroines. Other females also like guy, but are much less important to the story compared to the first two heroines. Will his childhood friends confess their feelings or keep them hidden? That’s the dramatic part they share so keenly in common, taken directly from the routes in the visual novels. Female androids; those are present too, as characters.

HENNEKO - The Hentai Prince and the Stony Cat

HENNEKO - The Hentai Prince and the Stony Cat

Rumors tell of a Stony Cat statue that grants a special wish: it will take one of your disliked personality traits and give it to someone in need. Two students arrive at the Stony Cat eager to make a change – Youto, an unabashed pervert, wishes to remove his façade and be able to speak his true feelings, while Tsukiko desires to hide her expressions and be more like an adult. However, little did the pair know that their prayers would be answered in unexpected ways – Youto begins to speak the full, embarrassing truth with brutal honesty, and Tsukiko becomes visually stoic, unable to smile, laugh or cry! To make matters worse, Youto soon runs afoul of the beautiful school idol Azusa, the girl who inherited his unwanted façade. Together, the three slowly become friends while Youto and Tsukiko try to regain what they've lost.

Both of these romance anime are about a wish-granting tree/cat, with brownhaired and blonde girls central to the plot. As the male protagonist becomes involved in wishes, he meets even more girls as they, too, fall in love with the guy. However, while most of the time the characters are quite carefree, the plot always thickens whenever the wishing cat/sakura goes out of control, causing problems for the cast.
