about me

Heya, random person enjoying my awesome Lv. 9999 - 1 XP from Leveling Up - profile! I watch anime; you watch anime; I'm an Anime-Planet character moderator. That's all. Actually, there's more, which kinda sucks since that means I am forced to write more, while you are blessed with the option to continue reading. Pretty unfair. It should be, like, the other way around or somethin'...

The Favorite Genres bar to the right probably does not lie (I don't know, maybe it does when I'm not looking?) - I love romance, fantasy, and mecha anime best of all, in that order. When it comes to my other interests aside from anime, I enjoy reading light novels, manga and visual novels, and playing solely JRPGs.

Real Life Stuff You Can Skip Over Because This Is the Internet And It Breaks The Illusion That I Am AI: I go to university to study accounting during the day (flippin' fun!) and work overnight as a cashier. Rarely both in the same day, though - I mean, come on, if I did, how ever would I have time for fun?! ...Disregard how one parenthesis said accounting is fun. It is, but isn't. It's like a true end route 'boss' with a power level exceeding 9000 because it's both. Apparently, accounting is also a simile.

That is all! For really reals! Now, be gone and never return! Also, come back sometime. My profile is tsun, but don't let it get to you. Later! Leave a comment or something. (Pfft, n-not that it matters to me if you do or not!) Thanks for reading! There was a reward for coming this far, but... Yeah, I took it. Not gonna lie.

*Note: I do not add characters to my 'Love' list if it would mean bumping Atoli - my favorite female character of all time - out of the top spot listed on my profile.

I don't know about it so far, nothing particularly attention grabbing in first 2 episodes. I've still got to look at several other animes which I have yet to start. Anything you started thats good so far?

Had someone told me before I started it was so terrible I wouldn't have started it lol. I don't think I have much to watch in the upcoming season so it will be a nice break :) I'm watching far too many atm although I still have a good chunk of Nisekoi to catch up on. Anything your looking forward to coming up?

The longer you're a Gamefly member, the more discounts you get. I've been a member for about four years now and I get a 10% discount off all used game purchases. I also get Gamefly dollars, which I can use towards purchases as well. Shipping is also free, of course, and I think Gamefly's prices are generally lower than other places. I know I got Pokemon X for $22.99 and Pokemon White 2 for $23.53, and this was when the games first came out. When you rent a game and you want to keep it, you just click "Keep" on the site and they'll send you the original packaging. You get everything that you would normally get if you were to buy it at a store or some other place. :)

I was a big gamer child, haha. I started out with a lot of GBA, Sega Genesis, Nintendo 64, and NES/SNES stuff. Pokemon, Mario, Kirby, Sonic, and Yoshi were the usuals. Some games are still my favorites, like Space Station Silicon Valley, Pokemon (of course), and Hamtaro: Ham-Ham Heartbreak. Then I eventually moved onto PS2, and then PS3/360. I played a few of those anime games before, although I knew the series before I got the games. xD Inuyasha, Zatch Bell, Beyblade, and so on. I still play Naruto games as soon as they come out. Super addictive, they are. Itachi is always my first choice, of course.

To be honest, I don't remember much about the first two Devil May Cry games. But from what I do know, the games aren't in order. If you want things to make sense, the order you should go with is Devil May Cry 3, Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 4, and finally, Devil May Cry 2. The newest game, DmC, is a reboot, and you play as a younger Dante. So really, I would suggest starting with either Devil May Cry 3 (which is what I did) or DmC. Both are pretty fun.

I juuuust got Escha & Logy in the mail a few minutes ago. For some reason, Gamefly had the release date as the 13th instead of the 11th, which is weird. I hope I won't end up disappointed as well. D: Is there something specific that disappointed you?

I usually like to play until I've beaten the game, but ugh... just thinking about it angered me. I figured maybe some time away from it would cool me down. xD I've never been so angered by a game before. But I think it's my fault, really. The game can be tricky if you don't stock up properly, upgrade the right things, or have the right ammo when it's really needed. It's hard if you don't know these things beforehand... stupid game. I always prefer buying over renting, but there's not much of a choice when short on money. Plus, this will be my first Atelier game as well. There's a chance I may not like it much, but I kind of doubt it. Either way, if I really do like it, I can just buy it from Gamefly instead of sending it back. :p That's what I like most about Gamefly. I also get discounts and stuff, so it's cheaper to buy it from them instead of most other places. And free shipping! :D

I wish you good luck on your quest! :p I honestly haven't played very many, which is what I'm hoping to fix now. The ones I have played, I played a long time ago, so I barely even remember what they were or if I even knew what I was doing, haha. I think I can understand what you mean about shooters, though. I've never really thought of it that way, but it makes sense. I grew up with lots of fighting games, so they just had a natural appeal to me. I don't really have a favorite genre when it comes to video games.. well, aside from horror/survival, I guess. I play a little bit of everything.

Hack and slash isn't my favorite thing, but depending on the game, I can enjoy it. Devil May Cry is a good example of that, I also liked Bayonetta, BloodRayne, and Prince of Persia. And Drakengard, of course. :p They kept my attention and were fun, even if the combat was repetitive. I'll let you know how the new Drakengard turns out. I should get it preordered soon.. once I get money. ;_;
