First off, it's based on a game of the same name to that right there should be a red flag. There is no comprehensable plot until after episode 7. Each episode after the first goes through scenes with Yui and each of the boys, which are painful to watch, and involve her abuse. I watched in all with good grace when I was recommended it from the Vampire Knight page and tried to like it, but it flopped for me. It seems like an amazing concept it just played out more like a visual novel rather than an anime.
