Brynhildr is pretty interesting. It is pretty much a sister to Elfen Lied (being made by the same creator) The two share similar themes with a mysterious and cruel organization that kidnaps people with special traits or powers and experiments on them. I was excited when they announced then aired the anime of it.
The psychological thrillers are the most interesting types of anime for sure. I'm still looking for more on the scale of Higurashi/Psycho-Pass. It is difficult, but there is sure to be a lot more interesting anime to come out in the years to come.

It's a sequel, and worth picking up the 2012 series. Stardust isn't as good in my opinion.
SAO is poorly written and stays that way. Its not worth the trouble to finish it if you didn't like it.
Not sure, but I could see how someone could make the comparison between Toko Ghoul and Higurashi. Higurashi has better characters and a better story going. Tokyo Ghoul might be more gory.
I don't know if "better" is the right phrase. I like how the lists work there more than I do here. But the community is awful and so are the mods on the forums. But I can't compare since I don't use the forums here.
hi there. just about to finish up FMAB. it's been really interesting. thinking about watching some shorter animes from here on out b/c i'm sure A-P will do the "secret santa" thing again. i try to do those every year. wish they would give badges for doing it. what have u been up to?
