I'm a nerd and I love it, and I owe my anime fandom to my roommate college Wanginator (another anime-planet member). While we share different tastes in anime, it wouldn't be uncommon to see a lot of anime we have reccomended to each other (usually him to me) if you compared our lists. If it wasn't for him though, I have a feeling this list would be about 1/10 it's current size.
