Both involve a highschool guy and girl who like each other and try to make a relationship work, but a mean "friend" ruins it out of jealousy. Both are shoujo and appeal to pretty much the same audience.

Although the stories are kinda different, both deal with high school relationships and the challenges that are faced within. Also, both appeal to a similiar shoujo audience.

Very similar feel, drama, art to them. If you like one, you will DEFINITELY like the other.

Nana (Bokura ga Ita) / Fujisaki (Tomodachi)

Motoharu (Bokura ga Ita) / Mizuno (Tomodachi)

Takeuchi (Bokura ga Ita) / Sasamoto (Tomodachi)

All of these characters have very similar circumstances (i.e. love triangle). Personally, I like Bokura ga Ita a little bit better because it's longer... and I like drenching myself in a long manga. But, they're both very good!

These two stories are both about romance and drama of students. The girl starts to like the boy who sits next to her. The guy likes them back but there is a female childhood friend in the way. Drama, brokenhearts and to forget that she dates his best friend.
