Classroom of the Elite

Ayanokouji Kiyotaka has just enrolled at Tokyo Koudo Ikusei Senior High School, where it's said that 100% of students go on to college or find employment. But he ends up in Class 1-D, which is full of all the school's problem children. What's more, every month, the school awards students points with a cash value of 100,000 yen, and the classes employ a laissez-faire policy in which talking, sleeping, and even sabotage are permitted during class. But among all the students who lead such self-indulgent lives, there is one who disagrees with it all and chooses to remain solitary, avoiding contact with others: the beautiful Horikita Suzune. She has figured out that, even though the school gives students huge amounts of money, it also offers many means of "assistance for students with no money." One month later, Ayanokouji, Horikita, and the students of Class D learn the truth of the system in place within their school...

The story is set during the spring vacation immediately after Mao and the others graduate. As the season turns and sakura flowers bloom, Kyōya is once again suddenly stuffed into a bag. School can be a boring place, but not for the members of the GJ Club! The kind Kyoya, meat-loving Kirara, calm Megumi, game prodigy Shion and pint-sized firecracker Mao always manage to have a good time while navigating day-to-day life, whether they’re preparing for the cultural festival, playing doctor, fixing TV signals by becoming human antennae, or simply getting to know each other better!

Takashima, resident otaku, longs to date only 2D girls. Tsukumo fancies himself the school’s master manipulator. And then there’s Nakamura, a reincarnation of an angel… or a devil, depending on the day. Mizuki has her work cut out for her in the Hero Club, because while their delusions might be the stuff of fantasy, the trouble they cause is as real as it gets!

Asai Mugi's everyday life is very much impacted by a singular problem: she suffers from extreme shyness. Her sole friend Touyama Kayo would like to help her out as they've just entered high school, but Mugi's shyness is the sort that steals her voice entirely. It is too bad for Mugi that a freak shout on her part attracted the attention of Nono Ichinose. Nono is on a mission to save her Drama Research Society, and she isn't prepared to accept shyness as excuse from on-stage performances! With a small group of close friends to encourage and educate her, Mugi will be given a chance to be more than she is now. But, can someone so terribly shy really become a stage actress in just a few short months?
