High School DxD Specials - Reviews

how do I describe these 6 DVD specials with as few words as possible is a challenge, well here's my take on it...

they're just 6 4-minute side stories ranging from beach episodes to general purpose fanservice.

the good:

*they're light hearted compared to the main series

*liberal use of fanservice just like the main series (if you're into that)

*they're short

*played for laughs

the bad:

*there's no story development (probably because I've watched too many serious shows lately)

*no character development

*fanservice (if you're not into it)

overall:

don't take these specials too seriously they're just there for a few more good laughs and just having some fun.

Maybe if it good or not, i'm not sure about this but it's ok to watch compare to the OVA so it is just a entertaining DxD contents and timepass. the major plus is duration, compare to the ove it just 4 - 5min in each episodes so this is not a big deal to watch and more or less it is watchable. in my opinion this DxD specials is not good but ok for considering the ecchi comedys so DxD fans check this specials if you wanted.

Most of this would be the equivalent to watching hentai as might be expected based on the series. Ep 3 focused on Koneko and Ep 6 focused on Asia are somewhat cute though.

Watch if you want to see the girls naked some more or in fantasy images and outfits, skip if you aren't into that as there isn't really anything else offered beyond the eye candy.
