Blood+ is a vampire-centric, dark shoujo story with shounen tones, while Uta-prince is your standard pretty-boy reverse harem fare, with a musical twist, but both have similar dynamics. They both center around a regular, high school girl who starts off more or less normal, and they each embark on a journey (literally in blood+, metaphorically in Uta-prince) to rediscover themselves, their goals, and find inner strength. Both stories are very different, but the core meaning behind them is the same. Plus, both have exquisite bishounen, to boot.
Bitten by a vampire while pregnant, Eric Brooks' mother gave birth to a baby boy: a child born with all the strengths of a vampire and only one of its weaknesses. Struggling with a blood thirst but imbued with supernatural powers, that child has become the vampire hunter known as Blade. Seeking justice for his mother and peace for himself, Blade tracks Deacon Frost, the vampire who killed her, throughout Asia.

If you like Blade, then you will Blood+ and vice versa. Both anime have similar stories, gore, Blood and a lot of Vampires. I recommende this anime to watch also.

Both are about vampires, and not the sparkly kind. Both Hellsing and Blood+ contain plenty of action, fighting, and well... blood.

Both of these anime feature monsters/demons which hide under the cover of being human. Only a select few people can actually fight them.
In both of these anime, the protagonist is presented with the choice of either race to fight for. While constantly seen as a threat and "the only hope" at the same time.
If you liked one, check out the other.
In modern day Tokyo, society lives in fear of Ghouls: mysterious creatures who look exactly like humans -- yet hunger insatiably for their flesh. None of this matters to Ken Kaneki, a bookish and ordinary young man, until a dark and violent encounter turns him into the first ever Ghoul-human half breed. Trapped between two worlds, Ken must survive the violent conflicts of warring Ghoul factions, while attempting to learn more about Ghoul society, his newfound powers, and the fine line between man and monster.
If you liked Blood+ or Tokyu Ghoul I think you would like the other because they are both fantasy based with a lot of action. The main characters also seem to be going through similar changes.
In the near future, demons with the ability to fuse with machinery and infest corpses have begun terrorizing mankind. Dubbed 'Amalgams', no one knows how they are created, or where their abilities originate from. As the random outbreaks continue, the general population begins to panic, demanding protection from these vicious beasts; enter XAT, a military unit created solely to counter the Amalgam threat. Despite being a highly skilled unit, however, they find themselves hard pressed to contain the threat, let alone subdue it. To compound matters further, a new type of Amalgam surfaces that proves even more devious than the rest - one made from the human, not machine. Yet all is not lost, two of these new Amalgams - the feisty Gerd and the mysterious Blue - actively oppose the others. With the odds stacked against them, will they be able to protect mankind while simultaneously being shunned by it?

they both center around a protagonist who fights to protect humans against monster enemies of the ssame kind she/he is.

Both Blood+ and Castlevania: Nocturne are about saving humankind from Vampires. They both have great adventure plots and action animated scenes. Though Blood+ is a bit more gore, Castlevania: Nocturne also has a dark mood in its universe.
