Bleach

This series started out good. The first Arc var really good, and it wasn't that bad in the arcs after that either.  But the further out they came, the more fillers they had, and the more dragged out dialogs and fight scenes.  I stopped watching when they suddenly jumped out in the middle of an arc, like nothing had happened two times, in the same arc. Both times were for over 8 episodes. The series had a lot of potential, but quickly started to die out. Naruto is pretty much the same, but they managed to get up in Shippuuden, and their fillers are mostly a lot better.

If you are looking for a well made, long running series, you should rather look at Naruto, or One Piece.

Bleach doesn't really go deeper, IMO. Character progression, at least what comes to Ichigo, is non existing. Unless you think about how he has downpowered a lot. That might have changed in the episodes I haven't seen tho.

And what makes Bleach a show for a older audience? There isn't more blood, and it isn't more adept. Both Naruto and One Piece has a lot more wit, but that could also have changed. Bleach was funny, but lost it in all the other crap.

There is a lot of filler in bleach, and even tho there is a lot of filler in both Naruto and One piece as well, they deal with it in a far less annoying way. (Not stopping the main story for over 10 episodes, and making opponents stare at each other for one whole episode or more before each fight.). Could compare it to Dragonball, but even that one had far less annoying fillers.

Of course there are precursors to upcoming events, they talk about the events for at least a couple of episodes. And they don't have more precursors then other common shows.

Could also have done a better review, gone more indepth, but I haven't watched it in a while, and don't think the show deserves it.

bad review, Naruto and one piece are both for a younger audience, as you progress in Bleach, it becomes more about the moral choice, the philosophy, and the in depth development of precursors to upcoming events.
