I was literally mind blown when I finished watching this anime. To be honest, when I first came across this anime, I thought it would be a light-hearted and silly anime that would be good for some casual entertainment. BUT NOPE. 'The Pet Girl of Sakurasou' is much more than that. Sure, the anime is filled with comedic elements but besides that, the story or the plot is filled with meaning as well. You can always get the basic plot line from the description so I won't be going in much detail on that. But mind you, the story is indeed incredible.

Another thing that I MUST mention is the beautiful art style. The art is so perfectly and magically created that it had me in awe on numerous occasions. Needless to say, this anime is a treat to the eye in the most literal sense possible. You'll know what I mean when you watch it.

The characters are also so thoughtfully drawn and created that you connect to each of them in a heartbeat. Their friendship, all of their ups and down makes you feel for them like no other. Not going to lie but I did shed tears on a few ocassions while watching this because...how can you not? Also, the romance in this anime was A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E.

Overall, this anime swept me off my feet right from the start. A heart wrenching, moving and inspirational story about a bunch of friends in high school that grow to be so, so much more to not only to each other but also to you.
