I'm a University student studying Computer Science, with interests in Psychology, Sociology, and Philosophy.
I've been interested in anime for quite some time, and I like a wide variety of genre's. Though I perfer anime which include various mysteries and suspense (such as Darker than Black, Code Geass, Death Note, etc.) or comedy series (Gintama, Welcome to the NHK, The Wallflower, etc.).
I have a huge collection of anime, both in Japanese and English dub... A collection I haven't even got round to fully watching yet (all series I've got but not watched are marked as "Stalled"). I've got around 500 gigs of anime at the moment, of material which is not readily available outside of Japan. However, when an anime that I like or watched a sufficient amount of is released in my territory, I will buy it to support the industry. I perfer boxsets rather than individual volumes. Latest anime DVD bought: HETALIA - SEASON ONE.

Hahaha, yeah I thought some of the moments in the desert were just hilarious as well... One Piece jokes are almost never funny when you try to explain them to others but if you see them it's the greatest rofl humor around :-P. Anyway didn't you just love ep 94, the introduction of Ace? It's really one of my favourites :D
hilarious episodes... I can't just randomly remember particular episodes, but don't worry, the humor won't slack off ;-P. I'll just say that... hmmm..
Let's see, after the arabasta arc comes some small filler and then the anime goes into the jaya and skiepiea arc... some people adore skiepiea arc and it was fairly good but i didn't like it as much as the arabasta arc at all xD. that's til episode 195.
One Piece has one filler arc that trancedes all boundaries of normal fun levels, it's the best filler arc ever made in anime history, right after the skiepiea arc, and this is definately something to be looking forward to :D! 196-206. I laughed my ass off 99% of the time xD.
The foxy arc, although sporadically hilarious, wasn't exactly one of one pieces best filler arcs... it qualifies as normal filler (annoying, but not too much of a pain in the ass) it goes from 207-226.
The water 7 arc (227-263) and enies Lobby arc (264-312) are easily One Piece's best arcs. They are brilliant from start to finish. Especially the enies lobby arc, there are so many funny moment that will make you laugh out loud and epic moments.... 274 and 278 easily qualify for one of the most epic anime moments I've watched so far... I often rewatch them just for kicks, it gives me goosebumps almost every time :-P. This was just amazing from start to finish.
After that arc comes some filler and then Thriller Bark 337-381. In this arc, some of the funniest and most ingenious one piece jokes are made. Although it was serious too with a lot of fights and stuff, it also made for some brilliant comedic moments :D! Makes you worship the genius humor of the mangaka even more. It's definately sacred :P.
Well let's stop my rambling here :-P let's just say that the skiepiea arc is good while not as good as the arabasta arc, but that after this arc it will become amazing again with the greatest filler arc in anime history, the water 7 and especially enies lobby arc, and the thriller bark arc. Just greatness :-P. Usopp often makes for utterly hilarious moments. I can't just stress enough how good these arcs are, but as I said it took me some time to get past skiepiea...
Anyway, I can't wait til you get to these amazing arcs :-P. I could give you a link to a video on youtube with some of the best comedic moments of one piece, but that would be spoiling. I think it's best to watch the comedy unprepared, so that it will just hit you extra effectively ;-).
Oh, and prepare for arabasta episode 126. it features a fragment of the 4th act of Dvoraks genius 9th symphony :D. there's also a brilliant zoro-directions moment in ep 124 if i remember correctly. hehe.
